I noticed by chance that my M2 SSD was getting really hot. I couldn't even leave my finger on it, so I took it apart.

Photo 1 Here's the baby.

Photo 2 Warranty void if removed… choose between the label or overheating? The choice is easy, we'll remove the label.

Photo 3 I cut a radiator to the right size from an old Pentium 3 radiator that was lying around.

Photo 4 Another angle of the radiator that fits perfectly.

Photo 5 I got some thermal glue. I'm talking about glue, not thermal paste. The assembly will be permanent.

Photo 6 Here we go, we put a little glue on. No need to use tons of it, it will spread when the radiator is installed.

Photo 7 It's glued, I'll leave it to dry overnight to be on the safe side
